Kew Gardens

We're (Samuel and I) away at the moment, back down in London staying with Ruth and Andrew. One of Samuel's requests for this visit was another trip to Kew Gardens. As it was sunny on Sunday and as my Mum was still at Ruth's we all hopped on the bus and headed for Kew. It was the first time Harry had been on a bus and he loved it.
Harry had a wonderful time "Aircraft Spotting" and Samuel filled in some more pages of his book. Harry was quite happy to pose for the camera but Samuel is getting a little fed up with the whole "Just stand there for a photo" routine!!

The Temperate house was gorgeous and there are so many flowers to look at it's hard to know where to start. I'd taken my macro lens with me and I just love this orange flower (the name of which I have no idea).

Outside the lavender was in full bloom and there were carpets of it outside the Princess of Wales Conservatory.

We still have so much to see but it will have to wait for another day.
