Today's prompt is Fur - the soft dense coat of hair on a hairy animalThis is Mercedes the last Polar Bear held in captivity in a British zoo..........................but not for long. In the next few weeks she'll be off to her new home in the Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussie near Aviemore. She orginally came from Canada where she was due to be shot after being found in a town looking for food. Luckily she was rescued and brought over to the UK.
John took this photo when we visited Edinburgh Zoo in August this year.
Pleased she was rescued and hopefuly she will settle into her new home.
