Not quite snowing...........

When we set off this morning, to get the food shopping for next week, there was a little bit of snow in Fochabers. Eight miles away in Keith they had a little more but by the time we came out of the shop there was a blizzard. Travelling home was a little slow due the roads not being cleared or gritted and when we got home there was still virtually no snow!! What a difference 8 miles can make.
Still even with a few flakes about you can't not go for a walk. So with hats over ears and scarves up to noses we took Mossy out for a walk around the pond. We walked past this pile of trees on the way down the lane and the smell was fabulous. Newly cut trees.....lovely. If I could share the smell with you I would.
A small sprinkling of snow, just covering what's left of the Autumn colours.
Today's view of the pond. A little icy and grey but a perfect view.
And lastly a very chilly Samuel who's full of cold at the minute so was wrapped up well.

Now home and warm I'm off to finish wrapping a few presents and snuggle up on the sofa later for the final of Strictly Come Dancing.
