Some crafting at last

This afternoon I took a time out and actually did some crafting. I'd covered half a dozen CDs way back in the summer and had never done anything with them. I knew what I wanted to make, but never got around to cutting anything out to decorate them.
Here's a little snippet. I still have to add some ribbon and figure out how to hang them up!!

I also covered the chipboard door hanger I got in a Scrapagogo kit so long ago I can't remember when. After seeing my sister Ruth's Santa Stop Here hanger last week I thought I make an attempt to do something with mine.
I used the very last of my Kelly Panacci paper on one side and some lovely lime green Scenic Route on the reverse. A also used a few red shiny alphas from MyLittleShoebox and some tiny chipboard letter which I coloured with blue felt tip pen and covered with silver Sickles.
I had to put Bloggin' as I ran out of Gs!!! I'm pretty chuffed with how it turned out :0)

The lighting isn't brilliant just now so I'll try more pictures tomorrow.

  3. Oh you are so talented, some people are so blessed with creative gifts but I'm afraid I am not one of them. I loved the door decoration.
So glad you are following me. My sister lives in Evanton (20 kms from Inverness) and my nephew and his wife live in Edinburgh so I love reading about Scotland, seeing your photos and hearing of your weather.
Happy New Year to you and your family, may 2010 be your best year ever......:-) Hugs

  4. Oh My Gosh Liz...
You are the craftiest little thing ever. I am thrilled you didn't have a "g". I really love just the bloggin. It is cute and fancy free. I love the way you inked the edges, gave it that antique look, and the flowers are so cute. What a darling addition.

How do you find the time to craft and work? I am usually so exhausted that I just can't go. I do good to sit at the computer and blog a little.

Have a beautiful day tomorrow sweetie. I will be going to bed about the time you get up.

Country hugs and so much love...Sherry

  6. Lime green lushness! At least yours will be in view all year round, unlike mine.
