A Just Because Present from Phoenix

When I got home from walking Moss this morning look what was waiting for me. A lovely pendant all the way from Phoenix, Arizona. It was made by the lovely Sherry and is in my all time favourite colour....lime green :0) Now I know I won’t wear it all the time so I’ve put it on a smaller chain and have attached it to my handbag. That way I can see it every day.
Thank you Sherry for such a thoughtful gift. It was really kind of you to send me something. We’ve always had Just Because Presents in our family so it’s not a surprise when something arrives from Mum or Ruth. It is however, completely different to receive something from someone you’ve never met who lives on the other side of the world.

    Hello Sweet Liz...
    I am so thrilled that your parcel finally arrived. (When you got your new glasses you mentioned something about the green case that you chose, and I knew then that green was going to be your color, as you loved it so much.) I wanted something special for you.

    The butterflies signify two things, a new beginning (which is a new friendship that I have found in you), and for you the brown butterfly to the green, reminding you that Spring is on its way. The Winter will be gone before you know it. I just cherish our friendship so much, you have been such a wonderful friend, and I wanted you to have something that I had touched.

    I have several that I have shortened and attached to many things, it looks precious on your bag. Just precious. ( I have even thought how cute they would be as a zipper pull. I can never get hold of those tiny little pulls they give us to zip with. So many uses really.) Have fun with it.
