House Party Blog-hop

Today I'm taking part in my first blog-hop. It's hosted by Maria over at Gallo Organico who very kindly sent everyone taking part a wee baggie with supplies in to make a wee hoosie. You could do what ever you wanted with the supplies - use all the bits provided, use half and some of your own or ditch the lot and design your own house. I opted for the second option because I knew exactly what mine would be when I saw the colours of the paper but I needed to add little bits and pieces to finish it off.

One of the supplies was a tag that said "Ticket" so I just had to make an old fashioned railway ticket office. It's the first time I've painted and altered pieces of jig saw but I quite enjoyed it. I don't know if I converted to Altered Art of not but it's been fun putting my wee hoosie together.

Now the purpose of this blog hop is to visit other blogs (new & old) who are also taking part in house building and see how they got on with their houses.

My link is Ruth at Everyday Life of a Surburan SAHM and who also happens to be my sister. I know Ruth's blog back to front and inside out and have, once or twice, featured in some, not altogether flattering photos. Pop over and check out everyday life in London for yourself from there you will find links to another blog taking part and so on and so on until you get back to me.
I hope you have fun blog hopping.

  31. Liz, amazing house. I was in the hop but due to technical confustions (mostly mine I bet) didn't get in the list. Maria put in a link to my house so I got tons of comment. I love the stamped word on the puzzle pieces. I have a bag of those & will remember this idea. Cindy
