A trip to Brodie Castle

Yesterday was lovely and sunny, if a little on the chilly side.  Just the perfect day for a trip out to Brodie Castle to see the daffodils and walk around the pond.
I even managed to get a rare shot of Samuel who is very camera shy at the moment!!  He was waiting outside the bird hide while we were in there with my nephew watching the ducks.
Proof that Samuel is taller than his ever shrinking Mum :0)
A customary shot of the castle before heading back to the car to finish off the picnic and get  a cup of coffee to warm the hands on.

  1. Oh Liz I have been there, my sister and BIL were so good to take me to many places in Scotland and I loved it.
So glad you are having good weather, they are calling for a foot of snow tonight going into Friday. I am so done with winter.

  2. Liz, that is just breathtaking! It reminds me of the poem about daffodils. Was that Wordsworth? My mind is in a bit of a muddle today. That castle is amazing, too. Glad you had a nice time with your very handsome escort as well as weith your faithful friend on four paws!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
