Today I promised the Teenager I'd make brownies, so after I'd done some ironing I cracked on and rustled some up.  Unfortunately, due to either my poor timings or naff oven they turned out a bit of a "Disaster Darling".

Still the Teenager says they taste OK.

I'll have to try making some more this week as I need to make some for the WI next Tuesday.

    There must be something in the electrode magnet field, even across the ocean. My trusty go to recipe for brownies that I made last week were a wreck and I have made this recipe at least twice a year for the last 15 years. Oh well a sacrifice to the chocolate Gods.
