Snow Day
I LOVE snow days. Especially when I get to stay home and play hooky whilst everyone else is at work.
My school was closed today as the road outside the building wasn't treated and, as all the children come to school on buses, the headteacher felt it was unsafe for them to travel.
The YM's school, however, was open (much to his annoyance) and off he went to catch the train, which thankfully were still running.
Hubby worked from home this morning but went to work about noon.
I got to put my feet up this afternoon and watch a film (The Only Living Boy in New York, which was quite good). Mind you I had cleared the ironing basket first thing, done two loads of washing, tidied the kitchen and spring cleaned the YM's room before lunchtime.
The sun is out now, so unless we suddenly have a freak change in weather it will be back to work tomorrow. :(
