Birkenhead Town Hall

I must have walked past this Town Hall a dozen times and never once thought much about it.

One day last week I had to go to a Council Finance meeting and it was held in this building and I was bowled over by how gorgeous it is.

This is the main staircase to the conference/lecture rooms.

And the ceiling in the room where we had our meeting.

I'm still in awe of the place.  What a great way to start your day.
