Cooking – I don’t cook!!  It’s not that I can’t, it’s that I loath it.  Hubby is the cook in our house and if I do anything, he likes to help interfere so I let him do it.  After 25 years I tend to do the washing up and let him get on with it.

Photographing - I'm working my way through the list if items for Mary-Lou's Summer Photographic Scavenger Hunt.  I'm not doing very well as I only have one.  I'm hoping to rectify that over the summer when I'm not at work.

Sharing - This week I have been sharing my chilli chocolate with hubby.

Trying - to lose those last few lock down pounds.  How come the weight goes on over night but takes week to come off again?  I know I can do I just have to be in the right mindset.

Wondering – How many sleeps it is until 1. We finish school for the summer and 2. Our grandson arrives for the weekend.  We haven’t seen him this year as he lives in York and we didn’t get to see him as planned due to Corona.

  1. How luck are you that your husband cooks but mind you I would only like mine in the kitchen a few times as I do like to cook & bake (although no baking as I also like to eat it). Chilli Chocolate? is that chillis actually added to the chocolate? Only 3 more sleeps until stage 1 & oh what a great way to celebrate with a visit from your grandson. I cannot wait to see your finds for SPSH - remember we have until September 30 so no rush :)

    1. Sadly I still have 16 sleeps until the end of term and even more until our Grandson arrives :0(

  2. I'm a firm believer that household jobs should be allocated to the people who enjoy them the most or are the best at doing them so under those criteria, I'm in full agreement of your cooking arrangements! I tried chilli chocolate once and I wasn't a huge fan, however at the moment I'm trying to lose a few of those corona-kilos so any chocolate would be almost irresistible!

    1. We have chillies in a lot of our dishes so it seemed only right to try the chilli chocolate.

  3. Yes! So unfair that the extra pounds go on so easily yet are so slow in coming off. Lol. I'm working on that too..

  5. Not being able to get grandparents and grandkids together has been one of the most difficult things about this whole corona situation! Hope you get to see him soon.
