This week
We've definitely had a drop in temperature.
so it was a perfect time to finish the housework.
We are watching The Traitors on BBC1 and are totally hooked. We seem to have completely missed series one, so we'll have to catch up with that once this series has finished.
My crochet is coming along nicely. I wasn't too keen on it to start with, but it's growing on me now.
I'm listening to the DCI Ryan series on Audible.
I walked the boys, who still insist on finding all the mud they can.
I got things ready for work. I can't say I was looking forward to it, but needs must. It will be fine once the first day is over.
And that's the first week of the new year over with. Here's to the next 51.

Seems everywhere that winter is making itself known. I've seen on the news all the serve flooding in England, so hopefully there are several weeks of dry weather ahead to allow the rivers & lakes to recede to normal levels; sorry fur boys, you'll have to really search for mud now (col). Ah yes returning to work after a break is often the hardness part of the holiday, that & Christmas clean up.
ReplyDeleteLuckily our area doesn't flood but I know other areas have had a really rough time. The weather here is so up and down at the moment. I snowed last night but looks like it might be gone by lunchtime!!

We haven't been so hooked a programme in ages. Roll on Wednesday. Only 5 weeks till half term :0)

ReplyDeleteIt's some kind of palm, but to be honest the top is dying off and it's sprouting again from the bottom. Time for it to be cut back and see what happens next.. Fingers crossed.
